• I got to paddle an outrigger canoe while in Hawaii – where I saw whales jumping just YARDS away from our canoe!

  And after an intense few years focusing on my children and my business, I’ve started making more time for ME eg I’ve taken up salsa dancing again – yippee! And I now get 8-9 hours sleep every night. (That actually means more to me than any of those business accomplishments!)

Of course it sounds all so simple when I rattle it off like this, but the truth is there were numerous trials along the way, several setbacks and many, many unforeseen challenges. (And I’ve got to admit, several of those challenges were internal – questions like, ‘can I really do this’? ‘do I deserve this?’)

But because of what I’ve learned as I’ve faced those challenges, I’ve grown as a person; I’ve discovered an inner strength that I did not know was there, and as I look forward into the future, there is honestly NOTHING I am afraid of facing. I know there will be challenges – that’s part of growth - but I also know I’ll have the strength to handle whatever comes my way.
